Physical medicine and rehabilitation, also known as physiatry and physiatrist is a branch of medicine that aims to accentuate and rehabilitate functional ability and quality of life to those with physical disablement or disorder. A physician having completed training in this field called as physiatrist. Physiatrists specialize in restoring optimal function to people with illness to the muscles, bones, ligaments, or nervous system. Physiotherapy assists people to address disability or injury to restore the movement of their daily life. The diagnosis depends on wound care and ECG will improve the patient physical functions.
